bad computer

My computer has a virus that has encrypted all my photos! It is like they are being held for ransome since it is asking for money to get them back.....how is this allowed???
So I am not able to post pictures until I get my computer sorted out. In the meantime, I am still creating so when I am back I should have lots of good stuff to share!
My poor pictures!

Family Layout

Back again with another layout that I put together. I used We R Memory Keepers for this one. It was a fall line that came out last year (2012) called Autumn Splendor. I really like how it turned out. The deep red paper draws the eyes to the photos and the faux stitching on the scallop paper keeps the focus drawn into the center. I added a few stickers for the visual triangle and look at that- an eye catching but simple layout! My husband asked me why the photos were crooked.......
:)

As the spring lines begin to hit the shelves I am feeling sad that I have no spring photos yet- why you ask, well it is the crazy amount of snow that still lies in our yard!!! I really need to take a picture of the snowdrift that is as high as our fence!!! No puddles for jumping in at our house.......

Memories in the Making Layout

I am still managing to keep up with my album of my son's first year. I made this layout of his first visit to his great grandparent's place. I really hope they will be around to see him grow into a little boy. He was 5 weeks old in this picture- what a difference from then to now!!!

I used Jillibean Soup for this layout. I mixed lines so it is a combo of Cold Avocado Soup and Chilled Cucumber Soup. The colours were very similar. The little grey letters are LillyBee Design.

Bad Kitty Layout

I made this layout using a background paper from Reminisce and some other paper from Doodlebug, We R Memory keepers, and Boxer Scrapbook Productions (I have not heard of this company which might tell you how old that paper is!!!!). Tao was in my son's crib, which is not allowed of course. I had to take a photo since he was not in the crib and she was trying to catch some sunlight- pretty cute but still a bad kitty!

Boy Wonder!

First, I have a boy birthday card that I made using the new Bella Blvd. line called Max. I used four of the Candid Cards and then added washi tape and some stickers to two of them. I pop dotted the birthday sentiment.

Second, I made a layout of my son using My Mind's Eye's: Boy Crazy which came out last year. I did not buy the embellishments for this line so I used the paper sheet with the quotes and cut them to make the title and the sub-title. I added a flag banner from Echo Park's Scoot and a Bella arrow sticker. The date is Jillibean Soup letters.

My little turkey can pull himself to standing in his crib and is on his way to walking. We have to move the crib mattress down since he is reaching over the bars now. Little stinker!!

Sweet Boy Birthday Card

Back again with a little card for one of many birthdays coming in the next couple of months. After January I need birthday cards for every month so I need to switch things into high gear so I am ready as they come. Time does fly!!! Yes, and soon it will be spring here.....maybe.....we hope.....darn polar vortex! My son will be 1 in a mere 2 months. I cannot believe one year is fast approaching. I remember just waiting to hit 6 weeks!

I used Echo Park's line called Scoot to make this card. Pretty simple and so fast to make. I used the stickers and added stickles and pop dots on the sentiment and the cement mixer.

Bath Time Fun

I think this my favorite layout right now!!! I went through all my old Doodlebug papers and found this blue one with circles, which is actually a snowball paper, but it looked like bubbles to me. I used Bazzil cardstock for the background. I used a swiss cheese punch on the bottom and then put a strip of Doodlebug cardstock behind it. The letters are Doodlebug, loopy love. I used a duckie doodlepop, washi tape, a border sticker, a tag from the baby boy line, and dotted cardstock. At the top I used some of the circles punched from the bottom and glued them at the top to add a bubble look.
I used yellow rub-on leters on this label to add a sub title and the date. I also pop dotted it.

My son was making such a funny face when I took this picture! I think he is unsure of what I put on his head!!
I love this border punch and I need to use it more. I still like my punches. I find them quick to use and versatile. I just to need to use some of them more often; then I can justify a whole storage container full!!!

Little Boy Layout

Somehow I knew I would have a baby boy one day. I was in a scrap store 4 years ago and this line from Echo Park was out and I was drawn to the paper. I was not pregnant nor had any plans to be but something inside said one day I will need this paper. I bought it and now.....I have a baby boy and I am using this paper!!! I also really liked the bright colours and I have made a few boy cards with it too.
I used Doodlebug washi tape at the top and bottom. I pop dotted some of the stickers to add dimension. I used a border punch on the orange paper under the photo. The stickers were all part of this line called Little Boy.
FYI- my son is on his way to walking now......here he was just trying to crawl although it looked more like swimming on land! So cute!

Winter Wishes Layout

I copied the layout from the other day and made a second page. I really liked the look of it so I used it again! I love papers with designs like this background one but somehow I get stuck on how to use them. I hate to cover up the neat design and then I can never figure out how to place a photo and the embellishments. This layout design worked perfectly with the swirls at the top still showing and I was able to add embellishments and a title without losing the background.

I used Echo Park's Let It Snow and Winter Wishes lines to make this layout. I added some enamel dots from My Mind's Eye and Doodlebug. It is snowing here, yet again, so this was the perfect layout to make for another snowy day!!! I could complain about this winter all day but it will not bring spring any faster so I might as well just take pictures and scrap it!!!

Merry December Layout

Since there is still so much snow here, I do not feel too bad about making Christmas layouts! Spring does not feel around any corners!!! I used Jillibean Soup's Christmas Cheer Chowder to make this page. I pop dotted a few of the stars for dimension. Pretty simple when you have a line that coordinates so well and has all the right embellishments!

I printed the photo in black and white since the photo colours would have been tougher to coordinate with paper. This way I was free to use any line I wanted since colour was not an issue!

Hip, Hip, Hooray Birthday Card

I made this card on the weekend, which was, sadly, all I had time to do.....the naps are getting awfully short again!!! Why can't my little turkey just sleep!!! I would love to sleep, that much I do know!
Anyways, I used Basic Grey's RSVP line to make this cute card. I added stickles to the sentiment and the cupcake and I pop dotted them both too. I really like the colours in this line but I am a sucker for anything bright and colourful- especially that teal colour!
