You + Me Fall Layout

I am not sure if I am loving this layout but oh well! I decided to post it anyways. I used Bella Blvd.'s Fall line from last year. I pop dotted the cozy cuddle sticker. It was a pretty basic layout to make using the stickers from this line to embellish. Hopefully I will have some cute fall pictures with my son this year! I was pregnant at this time last year and feeling awful with all the nausea etc. This year I am sleep deprived but madly head over heals crazy about my little man! What a difference a year makes.....

Bella Blvd. Cards

I made these five cards and submitted them to try out for Bella Blvd's Design Team but I don't think I got picked. Now I am sharing them on my blog! I used all Bella Products and combined new and old lines.
I am in love with the five new lines that came out. They are VERY cute with the bright colours and lots of awesome embellishments.

Can you believe it is basically 3 months until Christmas.......time to start planning those handmade cards!!!!
The Play Date collection is not just good for kids! Aren't cards great- I love making them because I can do it pretty quickly and I don't spend hours agonizing over where to place things.

I made a Halloween card but I have never given one away. Do people send Halloween cards??? Oh well, maybe my son will be the lucky recipient when he is older!

Bella Thank You

I made this card for my mom to say Thank You for a wonderful dinner/babyshower she held for us last night. I used Bella's Thanksgiving/Fall line from last year and the line Finally Fall. The twine is American Crafts. The Washi tape is all Bella too. I love cloud paper and I have been hoarding it so I am glad I finally used a cloud paper from my stash!!!

You Are Boo-tiful!

I am getting excited for my favortite time of year....FALL!!! I love the feel of the cool air, the falling leaves, the smell of September, and of course my favorite holidays! I love decorating and dressing up for Halloween and this year will be even better because I get to dress up my son for his first Halloween!!!! This is me last year- I love anything zombie- so naturally I dressed up as a zombie scientist. My husband bought this crazy skeleton at Menards one year for really cheap and the kids enjoy making it talk.

I am loving the new Bella Blvd. collections and for this layout I used old and new Halloween papers and embellishments from Bella. I put my circle punches to good use for this layout!

Bella Today = Halloween

I have been working on a Halloween album for some time now and every year I add to it when all the awesome Halloween lines come out. I love Bella's new line this year- soooooo cute!
The embellishments are very cute with the tabs and quotes.

Remember when you made your own Halloween costume using this and that from around home??? Kids don't really do that anymore which is too bad because it was all part of the fun I think. My sister and I are dressed up as a witch and a princess here. We had this ugly rubber nose with a wart on it which I am wearing and I am also wearing a wig! The makeup was the best- we loved putting it on our whole face and then it would stain, even after scrubbing it forever with Noxema!!!

In case you haven't read before on this blog- I am a Halloween nut! I love decorating the yard and I especially love zombies. Maybe Callum will be a baby zombie this year!!! You can guarentee I will be using Bella and Doodlebug to document my son's first Halloween!

Baby Fabric Toy

I made this for my son before he was born. He loves it and it was so easy to make. They sell them in the store but you can easily make one yourself with some leftover ribbons pieces and leftover fabric.
I used flannel dinnosaurs on one side and cotton on the other. Cut two pieces roughly the same size and place design side facing each other. Pin to hold together while sewing.

Add ribbons to the inside, folding them in half to form a loop, and pin. Make sure they face into the center on the inside of the two pieces of material. This ribbon is just for show- it should be inside!

Once you have placed ribbons around all sides, sew around your material but leave an opening on one side. You will pull the material through this opening to get the fabric on the right side.

Once you have turned the material the right way, sew around the edges to close the opening.

Now you have a ribbon toy that your child will love to pull and chew on! Well, at least my son loves to! Remember to wash it first!
