Bella Cards for Christmas

I made another card using the Daily Details page from Bella's line Christmas Cheer. The great thing about these cutouts is that you can make so many cards in a snap. They are also great for pocket scrapping. Below is a recap of the cards I have made so far. I embellished with Bella stickers, twine, stickles, and gems. It is almost the final month before Christmas.....time to think about mailing cards to people far away!!!

Christmas Card with Bella

I made this card using Bella Blvd's Christmas line. I punched the heart from cardstock and layered a sentiment from the border paper on top. I added stickles to the snowflakes and the heart. I also added a twine bow at the top. I loved the paper with the cute squares- there were so many cute sayings and I made a bunch of cards from that sheet already!

Snow Banner and a Thankful Layout

Phew! I have a long post of pictures to share today. I made this banner over the weekend and finished up today. The flip side was done with Doodlebug's Christmas line so that side is not done. This side was done with Doodlebug's Frosty Friends line.

I bought pre-made chipboard triangles at Hobby Lobby. I traced the shape on paper and cut it out. Then I decorated all the pieces with embellishments!

I used lots of pop dots to add dimesion to the stickers.

Here is the banner together, sort of! I will not tie it together until I finish the Christmas side.

I also got a layout made today......Thank you 3 hour nap time!!!!!
Let me tell you- that does not happen often so I took great advantage of that time!!!

I used Bella Blvd's Thanksgiving line to make this layout. I fussy cut the scarecrow from a journal square from an older line.
It was a lovely day in September and I love how the colours reflect the feeling of the sunny fall day at the park.

Some of the stickers are pop dotted as well. There is so much snow on the ground already and the roads are icy. Welcome winter......I miss you fall!!!

Santa Card

I managed to squeek out a card this morning. I used Doodlebug products from the new line and a few older stickers too. The sentiment at the top is from Bella Blvd. I pop dotted the green gift and used a Doodlepop santa. Snow again today so it is going to be a white Christmas!!!

Let It Snow

I thought I would share this layout even though it is not finished. It is taking me much longer to finish projects because I have picked up some extra work. It will be nice to have money for the holidays but it sure does not leave me with a whole lot of "ME" time! I have also not developed pictures in a really long time so that does not help when I want to make layouts! I have made two layouts like this one already but I wanted to use the Frosty Friends collection from Doodlebug since it is SOOOO cute! The original idea came from a post on Doodlebug's blog quite awhile back.

I kind of separated the colours but I interspersed white all around the circle. I will put my picture in the blank area. I also plan to add some more embellishments outside the circle. It does not show up here but I have sprayed the whole page with a shimmer mist to give it a snowy feel.

I saw a sign that had 40 days until Christmas posted on it.......wow, time is moving fast!
Now we have snow too so it is feeling like winter!!! BRRRRR.......

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

I am back today with a snowman card using Doodlebug's line called Frosty Friends. I cut glitter paper in a wavy pattern and layered the two pieces on top of each other with pop dots. I added some glitter trees, snowman stickers, and the cute enamel dots with snowflakes. The sentiment is from Reminisce.
Enjoy the chilly day!

Winter Wonderland: Frosty Fun

The more I look at this layout, the more I fall in love with the Frosty Friends line from Doodlebug. The colours in this line are awesome and how totally adorable are the snowmen.......but what else could one expect from Doodlebug. The snowmen are ALWAYS super cute!!!

I added stickers, sprinkles, vellum, washi tape, and paper to make this layout. The plain cardstock is also Doodlebug.

I am still loving the sprinkles......love the glitter ones and love the little enamel characters too. This is one item I will be using on most projects for sure!!! The holly berry ones are also VERY cute, by the way!

Halloween Party Ideas

Happy Halloween!!! I was really busy getting all things Halloween done this past week so there was not much scrapping going on but there was a whole lot of Spooky crafting happening!!! First up is my spooky spider tree centerpiece. I collected dead branches from our tree and spray painted them black. I stuck them in a floral foam block, covered them with cobwebs and added spiders. It turned out to be a really neat table centerpiece.

I bought these jars from my local dollar store and added some spiders, eyes, and cobwebs. I added labels which I purchased at Micheals. Very easy.

Here are the foods I made for my party- all kid friendly and easy. Green jello with spiders is a must for kids!

These little pumpkins are made from mandarin oranges and celery sticks.

My homemade mud pie is chocolate jello covered with cookie crumbs and sprinkled with gummy worms.

These are banana ghosts with chocolate chips for eyes and mouths.

I think these might be my favorite- apple teeth and bloody bandaids. The teeth are apple slices with peanut butter and marshmellows. The bandaids were made with graham wafers, cream cheese, and a dab of jam.
Here are the snacks laid out and the plate in front was a carrot pumpkin with celery for the stem. Kind of healthy snacks too so the kids were not way over sugared!

Here is my little cutie ready to Trick or Treat!!! Hope it was a safe Halloween for all!
